In front of nearly 150 spectators on Saturday, the Cardinals and Flyers looked to edge ahead in the best of five finals series. The Flyers struck first scoring twice in inning number one. Two singles led to a two out error on the Cards left fielder. The Cardinals answered in the second inning on Seth Suplin's 3rd homerun in a many games, cutting the deficit to 2-1. In the third inning, the Cards took charge of the game, plating four runs on three hits, including a Vitus Huber triple, and a Johnny Perigos double. Unfortunately, the lead was short lived as the Flyers put three runs across in the fourth inning, tying the game at 5-5. But as quickly as the three run lead went away the Cards got it back in the bottom of the fourth. After a lead off triple from Samuel Paulino, who scored on a sac fly, Johnny Perigos and Suplin went back to back for homeruns, extending the lead to 8-5.

The Flyers scratched one run in the fifth and seventh, but were again answered by the dangerous Cardinal offense, who scored a big insurance run in the eighth inning to lead 9-7 going into the last inning. The Flyers were not going to go quietly, as the first three hitters of the ninth singled off Imboden...this was not the start the home team was looking for. Unfortunately all three of these runners ended up scoring, giving the visitors an improbable 10-9 lead heading into the bottom of the ninth. The Cards managed a baserunner with a one out Lexu Walchli single. But a bunt attempt to move the runner to second proved unsuccessful, and the Flyers secured the comeback win, 10-9!
